Remodeling

April 21, 2006 0 comments

Have you missed me? I didn't think so. Whether you missed me or not, I'm back now, and I'm ready to chat. Wondering what I've been up to? Well, I'm going to tell you anyway. I've been a busy little bee again, but this time I've slacked off the writing for just a little while. I still write every little bit, and will still make my deadlines for projects I've already got lined up, but what I've been doing the most is remodeling my Web site. Yeap, that's right folks, I'm remodeling again. I don't know why but I never can leave the Web site alone--maybe it's because I enjoy building Web sites so much--who knows.

You see I'm moving my Web site to a new host, a paying host (I think I've mentioned this once already so I won't dwell on it). Now, my URL will stay the same, I'm just moving to a new host, and in the process of moving I've decided to go with a new look, which I think you'll like by the way. Once I get things completed I will let you know so you can have a look and let me know your thoughts.

Like I said, I have still been writing a bit too; I can't put a total stop on that. The writing I have been doing is writing on my reality TV shows--like I do every week. If you've been keeping up with those there are some new ones up, and you can view them all here. In addition, to the reality TV shows I also have three other articles not related to the reality TV world, and they are: "Marketing Your Way to Success," "Top 10 Graduation Gifts" and "Annual Festivals in Southern Illinois." Be sure to check them all out, rate them and leave your comments before you leave. The "Top 10 Graduation Gifts" is based on a survey I did with past and upcoming graduates. If you know someone who is getting ready to graduate, and you have no idea what to buy them this article should help you decide.

Well it's back to remodeling for me. As always, never give up on your dreams--work toward them.

Best Wishes,

P.S.
I've also been posting in my blog for freelance writers. If you haven't checked it out lately now's the time, because I've put up lots more useful information. In addition, each week I will now be listing jobs for freelance writers as well. Stop by and say hello!

Giving My Web Site a New Look

April 15, 2006 0 comments

Other than writing my books, meeting deadlines, applying for freelance jobs and searching for more freelance jobs, I'm also getting ready to remodel my author Web site, and move it to a paid host. I decided to move my Web Site from Geocities to a paid host, because I want to get rid of the ads that Geocities puts up, and I'm also tired of free hosting. Free hosting is okay if you can't afford anything else, but I'm learning that with a paid host I can save you from all those annoying pop-ups and advertisements that free hosts place on your Web Site, and I can also give my Web Site a professional appearance. This is something that is long overdue for me, and I think it's time I get my butt in gear and get started. If you have any suggestions at all for giving my Web site a new look, I'm open to all your suggestions. Here's the Web Site just in case you've never visited me.

I'm so excited to get started; I love building Web Sites, and it seems like I learn something new each time. When I build the new Web Site I'm going to also post a more recent picture of myself since the one currently on my site is over five years old. I no longer have short hair, my hair is long. So my recent picture will give you a better idea of what I look like now. Although, there isn't much of a change expect for the hair.

Since I have a lot to do I'll make this short. But before I go I'd like to invite you to visit
Orlando Luxury Real Estate. If you're thinking of moving or buying a home in Orlando then this Web Site just may be able to help you. Not only can you search for a home, but you can also search for more information on the area.

Until next time, may God bless you and yours! Never give up on your dreams -- work toward them.

Inspiration from Fan Mail

April 11, 2006 0 comments

It's amazing how much fan mail can inspire and be uplifting to a writer. For the past week I've been working on a writing assignment, and this assignment got me down. Not only did it get me down, but I also developed a case of writer's block in the process (thank God it was short-term). Anyway, I opened my e-mail the morning that I was feeling down, and when I did I had an e-mail full of more fan mail. The fan mail that I read that day seemed to lift my spirits up and I was grateful. So you see, every time you send fan mail to me it means a lot. When I write, I write for you, the fans, and when I hear from you it makes all of it worth while. I always answer each and every piece of fan mail I receive, and then I save them. And now I know I've saved them for a purpose, when I get down I will go back and re-read each piece for inspiration.

Thanks for listening, and thank you for sending me your kind words -- they are appreciated. Keep the e-mails and comments coming, I enjoy every piece that I read, and I will answer you! May God bless you and yours!

Another Writing Gig

April 4, 2006 0 comments

Good evening friends, tonight's post will be a little short because I still have a lot of writing to do tonight in order to meet an approaching deadline. I wanted to post and let you know about a new writing gig that I will be writing on daily, and the good thing about this one is you can read it. For all you parents out there, I am now writing a blog for Family Matters Media. The title of the blog is Motherhood Survival. In this blog I will talk about my experiences with divorce, parenting, step-parenting and domestic violence. In addition, I will also give parenting advice, and I may share a few craft projects you can enjoy with your children. It doesn't matter if you're a single parent, married parent, male or female -- Motherhood Survival is for all parents.

I invite you to visit me at Motherhood Survival, and I welcome your comments too. As a matter of fact, if there is a topic about parenting, divorce or domestic violence that you'd like me to cover, stop by and suggest it to me. You can visit Motherhood Survival by clicking here. This is going to be a fun writing gig, and I am looking forward to it!

Speaking of parenting, next month is Mother's Day, and I'm sure you don't want to forget your mother. Send Mom some Mother's Day flowers to show her your appreciation, and also to show her how much you care. She'll love them!
